A stunning?fob from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 18k yellow gold, this?special piece portrays the shape of a 3-dimensional horse galloping on his way atop a dark green bloodstone base. The horse is incredibly detailed and bears an etched linear texture which resembles hair, as well as nicely outlined facial details, a flowing tail and mane as well. The gold plate that is attached to the bloodstone seal also features some lightly engraved detail around the border. The fob is complete with a simple matching gold bail, allowing you to hang this from any of your favorite chains. An incredible example of a wax seal, this Victorian-era fob is perfect for any collector!
Measurement:?The fob stands 1 1/4" tall, 1" wide at the base, and 3/4" deep.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the bloodstone.?
