A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of vibrant 14kt yellow gold, at the center of this gorgeous "buttercup" ring is a single sparkling diamond. The diamond has a total weight of approximately 0.60ct, and is suspended in a scalloped 6-prong belcher style setting. At either shoulder of the ring is an engraved groove design along with black enameling, adding a perfect accent. The band tapers in slightly as it leaves the shoulders of the ring. The Victorian design has a simply lovely look and would compliment any ensemble. It looks absolutely gorgeous when worn and would make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond stone is intact. There is some surface wear to the enameling, which is minimal and normal for a Victorian piece. This could be repaired if desired.
