A stunning diamond and ruby ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This wonderful ring is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a rectangular shaped face. Set within the open wirework setting are 16 calibrated rubies and 7 diamonds which rest vertically in 3 separated rows.? The sparkling diamonds are set at the center in a platinum topped setting and the rubies are set in gold, framing the ring on each side The wonderful wirework design is accented with fine milgraining and at the shoulders is a soft cutout design. The shank has 2 sets of hand engraved initials along with the stamp "14K". It's a perfect everyday piece and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but it could easily be re-sized. The rectangular plaque measures approximately 5/8" tall and a little less than 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting and all of the diamonds and rubies are intact.
